Feel Good Fashion & Beauty Tips

Happy New Year Gods & Goddesses! I hope you had a fantastic break and enjoyed whatever it is that you were doing…

I’m writing to you from our villa in Spain - make sure to check in on my stories for some behind the scenes action, news on my exciting 2024 announcement (IFKYK) and also calming Mediterranean waves to soothe your soul!

I’m rounding up this week’s Feel Good Fashion & Beauty favourites from my content on Instagram!

Every woman deserves to feel beautiful... and man too for that matter 💛

Starting the year as I mean to go on, which is empowering each and every one of you to look - but way more importantly FEEL your best ⭐️

Every single one of you possesses a unique beauty that is yours and yours alone, and I am here to help it flourish.

Some of you have forgotten how beautiful you are, and are hiding your lights from the rest of us. It’s not simply about physical beauty, it’s far deeper than that 🫶🏼

It’s about your inner being, the light inside, rediscovering your essence, your soul and shining it’s unique light bravely for all to see.

The beauty is in your uniqueness. There is only one you, we have all been blessed with different gifts so please be proud of who you are, stand tall and be counted.

This means celebrating your body, your current physical form and all the miraculous things it can do by giving it the love, time and attention it deserves.

This is not vain or a waste of time, this is a necessity.

Feel good fashion is a form of self-care and I believe a spiritual practice too ✨

So who’s with me? Let’s make this year the best ever - there are people out there living lives far less fortunate than ours. We are the lucky ones. And we owe it to them to make the most of every last second.

Happy shiny, new 2024!!! 🥳

Swipe through to see how I spent my NYE - all I can say is Bagpipes are a must, to make any night go with a bang - pity I can’t say the same about our reeling skills!!!

As the dust settles and the festive season draws to a close, I am full of excitement and anticipation for the year ahead. 2024 has just begun, and we get to choose how we want it to go, who we want to bet and how we fill it.... a virgin year, full of possibility, just how I like it! ✨

I know 2023 was a doozy for so many, not least because of the terrible events in the Middle East and Ukraine which still rage on, making it hard for us to focus on our own lives, as everything just pales in comparison when compared to theirs.

My heart and daily prayers go out to those suffering the unimaginable, and, as I have said many times on here, we owe it to the victims of war to live our very own privileged lives to the full, making the most of every opportunity that comes our way, getting out of our heads and living as fully in the moment as possible as life is so damn fragile.

So I for one am choosing to feel hope, anticipation and possibility this year. Spiritually speaking we had a massive shift last year and 2024, though not entirely smooth-running, will bring a lot of positive changes that will benefit us all.

So as you slowly stir out of your post-Crimbo sluggishness (please don’t push yourself and rush it too much as in many ways it’s rather delicious) allow your hearts and minds to swell with the limitless possibilities that await us.... and don’t settle - remember you are worth it! 💛

Talking about feeling the best you possibly can, have you caught up with my exciting new membership plans for more in depth content on Instagram stories? Please do hop over and join in the convo, as I’d love to hear your thoughts.

Winter Wellness

How I got myself back on my feet in a weekend after coming down with the most horrible flu-like symptoms which floored me... ✨

A slight deviation from the usual fashion content but nonetheless, this is part of my skillset - having got myself back on my feet (literally) following a serious car accident causing the medics to recommend amputation as I would never properly walk again, and then my subsequent chronic illness phase (Lyme, Crohns, the lot) which left me bedridden and helpless, wondering why the standard medical advice wasn’t helping me - no-one was helping me, so once I got out of victim mode (it took me a while) I took my health into my own hands which was so empowering, went back to school and took several courses including a diploma in Naturopathic Nutrition, and found the information so fascinating, not least because quite often it was the exact opposite of the advice we are given by the powers that be, that I have been learning ever since... I have learned so much, and I have SO MUCH to share with you - a lot of which will blow your mind, I can guarantee it!

This is why I am starting my new membership club on here, I’ll shortly be launching subscriptions which will enable me to legitimately spend the time sharing my high value knowledge across my areas of expertise - feel good fashion and beauty, wellness and law of attraction - in far more depth and detail than this platform currently allows.

The time is now. I have been cooking this up for a few years but 2024 is the year to do this and I can’t tell you how excited I am - keep an eye out for updates and a special early bird discount... I am SO excited! 🥰

In the meantime... these are just a few of the tools I used to get myself well again in just a couple of days...

💫 Breathing in pure HybO2 House oxygen to kill off the bugs

💫 Red Light therapy to reduce inflammation in the sinuses and promote healing and detox

💫 More bug zapping in the Sauna

💫 Poppy Delbridge’s amazing Rapid Tapping app to reset my mindset - my body will follow

💫 Raw garlic chopped and left for the Allucin to develop, washed down with Manuka honey - Jarrah honey even better!

💫 Grounding - the single most anti-inflammatory thing we can do for ourselves

💫 Blue light blocking glasses to protect my Circadian Rhythm which underpins my immune system

💫 Lots of nourishing, easy to digest and gut healing bone broth - our immune systems are in our gut

💫 DoTerra On Guard essential oil blend

How to shop the sales like a pro-stylist! 💫

Save this post and have it handy whenever you are tempted to hit the sales 📌

Have a list
This may seem obvious but don’t underestimate it. Check in with your wardrobe regularly, to check where your gaps are. (I have a permanent wishlist on my phone) then you are clear on what you need and less likely to stray.

Research
If there’s a particular item you’ve been hankering over, go and see it ‘in the flesh’ feel the fabric, try it on, make sure it’s absolutely right before you hit ‘add to basket’.

Get informed
Investing in a personal stylist and understanding which colours and cuts best suit your colouring and body shape will enable you to narrow your search and zone in with laser-focus on the pieces that will work for you meaning faster, more effective shopping. If shopping online, having your measurements scribbled down somewhere handy can help you avoid disappointment.

Price Check
Don’t get seduced by a bargain! If you wouldn’t invest at full price then you are probably in love with the discount rather than the garment so keep scrolling!

Be Choosy!
Wardrobe space is at a premium and clutter breeds confusion - so get picky about what you allow inside. Does it make your heart beat faster? If you’re not in love with the garment you just haven’t met the love of your life yet.

Get Strategic
Will it extend your existing outfit options? Does it represent your personal style or have you fallen into a trend-trap?! How many different ways can you wear it? (You want at least three). Aim for quality over quantity and buy the best you can afford for sustainability.

Be Practical
Would it be straightforward to return or is the effort prohibitive? Is the garment ready to wear as is, or will you have to get it tailored?

Finally
It’s easy to be drawn to the sparkly, unusual and statement pieces but does it fit with your lifestyle and is it what you actually need? The biggest gaps are inevitably quality basics which are comparatively boring to shop for but are your clothing building blocks. Calculate the cost-per-wear before you buy.
