Feel Good Fashion & Beauty Tips
Happy Friday darlings! What a week it has been - if you follow me on Instagram you’ll know I’ve had fun back at QVC in London, attended fantastic events on the latest in beauty and wellbeing, and shared some of my top tips and tricks for autumn styling!
I’m rounding up this week’s Feel Good Fashion & Beauty favourites from my content on Instagram!
Simple Fashion Maths - How to transition your wardrobe into Autumn 🍂
Ok, I think we finally need to accept defeat here in the UK, we had a bonus few days of sunshine (thank goodness) but now the weather has well and truly turned and there is a distinct chill in the air.
You may be changing out of your sandals, but there's no need to pack away all of your summer pieces quite yet, here is a bit of simple fashion maths for you, giving you the inspo you need to get more trans-seasonal wear from your warm-weather pieces.
Which look would you wear? 💫

Introducing.....Bruce! 🐱
Or is it; Albert, Bertie, Ralph, Tigger, Tarzan..... 😉
Bruce is 12 weeks old and we've all fallen in love with him already, only thing is - his name isn't sticking! We may yet keep it... or we may still change... never in all the history of my very many pets have I had so much indecision over a name!! 🐶 🐱 🐓
He's half Siamese and half Ragdoll - Raganese apparently!
Any other brilliant suggestions, let me know - it's still all to play for!

The style lesson we all need to remember! ⭐️
What I wore to the Pub last night! 🍻
Somehow this Saint and Sofia dress on it's own just didn't feel right... I felt too dressed up, even though it was a jersey fabric.
I love the bright red, and love pairing it with my long red coat for a striking monochrome look, but I wanted to feel more casual... and a bit more like 'me'.
I added my chunky waterproof BRGN by Linden Gaundal boots from Sass & Edge - easily one of my most worn investments in a neutral taupe that just goes with everything, added a statement necklace to break up the neckline, and nobbled hubby's old Polo by Ralph Lauren tweed blazer which tapped into the oversized trend perfectly. The utilitarian boots and the now contemporary oversized blazer brought the whole look up to date, made me feel a little trendier and a lot more like me again.
This look also looks great belted over the blazer, but on this occasion I didn't bother.
I made this work on a chilly evening (we were outside) by wearing a thermal vest and popping on a matching Uniqlo gilet under the blazer as we spent the evening outside. ☃️
So what is the lesson?
Leave enough time when getting dressed so you can experiment. If a garment doesn't feel quite right, have a play, and in particular try unexpected items with it... you might just be delighted with the results! ⭐️

AMLA Tough Mudder
So so SO proud to be a small part of this epic DASH Dogs Rescue fundraising effort at Tough Mudder today... what an amazing day out!!
Even if you are just watching, it's the most brilliant, emotional, challenging, life-affirming experience.
I laughed until my sides hurt and had a lump in my throat on several occasions watching everyone pull together, and complete strangers offer each other support, and a helping hand.
Immensely proud of my amazing family and our wonderful friends at AML Analytics who put themselves through this for a cause that is so close to our heart.
It was also lovely bumping into several of you in 'real life' today too! Thank you for saying hello. 🫶🏼
Going to bed tonight with my heart full of 💗💗💗 - I can't recommend Tough Mudder enough - it just has to be experienced!

It’s definitely scarf weather again! 🍂
As autumn is drawing in and we start to layer up, time to grab your favourite scarf and make it a part of your outfit. I’m sharing this handy scarf styling video with you again as you loved it last time - YouTube link in stories! 📲
The scarf I’m wearing is 90cm square, techniques vary with the size and shape of the scarf.
My gorgeous jumpsuit is my absolute favourite - by Donna Ida Denim, and my stunning silk scarf is by a wonderful little British brand called Acacia Zuri - go and give them some love, you’re going to want everything! 💗

The Secret to Stunning Eyes
Have you ever noticed that some people have really stunning eyes? They just seem to ‘pop’ out of their face and you can’t help but notice them! 👁️
The secret is in the eyeshadow. I’m going to take you back to colour theory for a moment. The colours that you are looking for to make your eyes really pop are the ones on the opposite side of the wheel 🌈
I have got green eyes and I look best with purple, red, or orangey, coppery toned eyeshadow. It makes my eyes really stand out!
Brown eyes actually look really good with brown eyeshadow - it’s a fail safe. But if you wan’t to make your eyes REALLY pop, add a little blue: electric blue, navy blue, sky blue all work perfectly! If you’re a little nervous about putting a blue eyeshadow on top of your lid, try a beautiful vivid underline. Green also looks beautiful with brown eyes as it blends in with the earthy tones.
Blue eyes look incredible with pastel or electric pink eyeshadow, as well as gold and copper which all emphasise the blue of your eyes.
Now go and add some Va Va Voom to your day! Comment with your eye colour and what eyeshadow colour you’ll be picking to make them POP! 💫

Pelvic Floor Chat
You do NOT have to put up with a leaky pelvic floor no matter what your age or circumstances! 💦
Isn't beauty and wellness tech just amazing?! There was a time when if you were unfortunate enough do regularly do a little wee when you sneezed or laughed too hard you were condemned to a life of Tena lady and hastily changing in the nearest loos, but thank goodness there have been some incredible breakthroughs in treatment since then, and just in case this should ever happen to you, this needs to be on your radar.
Yesterday I was invited to the loveliest event hosted by the wonderful @missbalaratnam and her fabulous @sthetics_clinic in beautiful Beaconsfield. We spent the afternoon at the luxurious @hedsor house and got to try out some brand new to market, pioneering beauty and wellness treatments which the clinic are offering.
I had the most beautiful Aquafirme facial, sculpted by abs (or at least tried to find them) with EMsculpt, and experienced Celluma Red Light Therapy all of which were brilliant but the absolute standout for me had to be this little machine - the Emsella Pelvic Floor Treatment, offered by the clinic which dramatically improves the tone of that pesky little muscle in a simple, non-invasive and comfortable way.
One session lasts about 30 minutes and it is recommended that you have 2 treatments a week or 3 weeks and then review. One treatment is the equivalent of 6000 kegel exercises apparently!
It wasn't at all uncomfortable but it did feel a little odd - although not quite as odd as the beautiful @missbalaratnam interviewing me on camera in front of the whole room while I was partaking....let's just say I was trying very hard to avoid all the innuendos!!!
So lovely to catch up with such a lovely group of ladies too, on what proved to be a thoroughly spoiling day out. Hope to see you all again soon.
