Exploring Malaga
The bustling Spanish city of Malaga is often overlooked in favour of trendy Marbella hot spots, or indeed Nerja, which is where we are, but it has an awful lot to offer 🌞
A bustling food market, selling the cheapest, tastiest and freshest produce (we like to go early while it's still relatively cool and grab breakfast there before we do our food shop), stunning architecture, a bustling old town with rambling alleyways packed to the gunnels with cafes selling everything from Churros to chips and filled with happy Spanish chatter 💃🏼
There is great shopping, an ancient and picturesque castle, broad, leafy tree-lined avenues and a tranquil park full of fountains and songbirds. There are also several excellent museums and a glamorous port boasting artists and street entertainers, making for an inexpensive and rewarding evening of people watching whilst sipping a glass of local rose.
Malaga is our nearest airport here and we hadn't properly explored it until recently - now it's one of our favourite places to visit ✈️

Watch For All The Laughs!
Did you know that we fully engage our parasympathetic (rest and digest) nervous system when we laugh? We all live waaaaay too much in our sympathetic these days, thanks to modern living, which causes all sorts of unwanted complications, so make time to have a good old belly laugh as often as you can in the name of wellness.

Behind The Scenes at Barbie Shoot
The photos may look pretty.... but the reality isn't quite the same!! 😹😹😹
Had soooo much fun squeezing into this fabulous Nadine Merabi jumpsuit but WOW was it tight! After hours in hair and makeup, I had some serious breathing in to do, then you add rollerboots into the equation and well..... it wasn't glam in any way, shape or form - but it was definitely worth it!!!
Keeping it real on here for you my friends, back fat and all!!!

Holiday Shoe Hack
In the summer heat I deliberately wear my shoes a half size bigger as my feet tend to balloon with the warmth, when I’m red carpet dressing I also frequently put my clients in shoes slightly larger than they need and then pad them out with insoles to ensure their comfort 💫
No matter why you are doing it - this simple hack for a tie shoe, stops it slipping around all day and lowers the risk of a sprained ankle. A holiday essential in my opinion!!

The many changing faces of me.....💗
Well I'm not going to lie - this one took guts!
My ego got TOTALLY in the way!!! It was screaming - DON’T SHARE THESE AWFUL PICS!!!! But why?! Was I embarrassed and ashamed? Being honest, a little bit yes! 🫣
So I had an enormously stern word with myself, put my big girl pants on, and here we are.
I am deliberately sharing some very unflattering photos of myself to dispel the many beauty myths on here that we all just woke up like this... I certainly didn't! I have done a huge amount of work on myself, both on the inside (oh the hours of therapy) and on the outside (the hours of everything else) and result is most definitely a transformation 🦋
Over the years I have transformed myself - my appearance, my body and as a result, my confidence, which is why I'm passionate about helping others feel their best too.
As someone who has definitely had their fair share of mental health challenges over the years, and have been literally disfigured as a result of Lyme disease and almost disabled as a result of a serious car accident, I have found it incredibly empowering and totally LIBERATING to take control of my wellbeing including my appearance and I have learned to do things purely for me and not give a toss about what anyone else thinks.
I have studied biochemistry and naturopathic nutrition, learned how to dress myself well, studied makeup, addressed my fine, thinning hair, improved my skin quality and swapped out my nose and teeth for some which I prefer.
While I'm not advocating that everyone dashes to get hair extensions and a nose job, I am advocating that self-love can come in many forms, and for me, learning to feel like a beautiful butterfly rather than an awkward caterpillar, has been the most positive thing I have done 💫
I did not wake up like this, I certainly didn't come out of the womb like this, but I have learned to make the most of myself, and you absolutely can too.

My Skincare Routine
After an overwhelming response to what I have had ‘done’ tweakments-wise, the answer is quite a lot 🤣🤦🏼♀️ but there are two standout options that I would continue to pay for and lots that make a difference that I do at home. I will try to be brief...
The treatments I will continue to keep up and pay for personally:
Neogen Plasma with Dr Sara Clinic - I had 3 treatments and they significantly improved the texture and tightness of my skin. Not nearly as uncomfortable as Ultherapy and in my opinion way better.
Face Design with Dr Ivy - I have had so many 🩼🩼🩼 over the years and I can say hand on 💗 that Ivy is in a whole league of her own. Quite simply the very best, natural result I have ever had - now I really like catching glimpses of myself in the mirror, makeup or not.
At home:
Gua Sha via Hayo’u Method - so easy, so therapeutic, and makes such a difference from de-puffing to stimulating collagen and oxygen - my daily go-to.
Face Yoga via Face Yoga Expert - 5 minutes a day has worked a treat and it feels so empowering to literally contour and lift your face yourself - best of all it’s FREE!!
Red Light therapy via Current Body or in salon Harvey Nichols via Light Salon - lifting, tightening, texture improving - you can feel this working.
Excellent skin nutrition via Herbal Face Food - the science speaks for itself with this natural wonder product. It’s simply a desert island must have.

Watch to the end of this video to see me start to loose patience!!
I hear the sun is shining in Blighty, so here is a sunny, sequinny funny capturing the reality of trying to capture a bit of content whilst your teens are on the loose for your entertainment! 🌞
Lily obviously had to get in on the sartorial action so here is mother and daughter trying - and failing - to create a little video for you. I actually rather like the results! 💗
