Happy Friday darlings! I’m back to all about fashion and beauty this week taking you behind the scenes at QVC on my Instagram account, sharing Royal Fashion thoughts and updates, and writing exciting new press articles which you can find in the Press section here.

I’m rounding up this week’s Feel Good Fashion & Beauty favourites from my content on Instagram!

Big Boobs! 🍳🍳 - how to style them!

Big boobs can dominate your figure if not style properly. The key is to put your silhouette back into proportion to look balanced - we need to show off your beautiful curves in the best possible way.

You want your shoulders to be wider than your chest. Always choose structured jackets and put shoulder pads in everything - I get multi packs from Amazon which literally just velcro onto your bra strap, they are brilliant!

It's key to break up the torso so it doesn't merge into one. A good bra to lift and separate is vital so your chest is separate from your waist.

Find your waist and define it - you will have a narrowest point. You want to add shape back into your middle, don't hide in baggy clothes - I know this is counter-intuitive but I promise you will look so much better!

Break up the upper torso with V or Cowl neck and broaden with open collars and wide lapels, breaking it up visually into sections rather than one whole makes it look smaller.

A stand collar or hair up can elongate the neck and add height which is flattering.

Match the width you have created at the shoulder with volume at the hip through waisted jackets, wide leg trousers or swishy skirts. The aim is a figure of 8 silhouette.

Avoid high necklines as they make you look blocky, remember we want to break the area up, batwing sleeves and drop shoulders can make you look wider and rounder, go for structure instead.

Divide your torso vertically by wearing long layers such as an open jacket over a long sleeve tee etc, earrings can also be useful, go easy on the necklaces - long ones can get caught around a boob and larger pieces draw attention to the area that you are trying to minimise.

Finally, remember colour - you can make your boobs look smaller if you wish my wearing darker, deeper colours on your top half and lighter, brighter tones on your bottom.

I tried the dressing gown hair hack, and this is what happened... 👀

Heatless curls in moments? It sounded almost too good to be true, so with Lily’s assistance I have it a go.

Lily had a proper heatless curler set, I used the tie from my dressing gown, we simply wound our hair over each side of the tie, going away from the face and secured it with a hairband.

It was surprisingly comfortable to sleep in, and to my PT, Andy’s delight, I even kept it in for my morning gym session and my dog walk afterwards! 🏋️ 🐶

The result... I had waves and volume, although not all of them were behaving as I wanted them to - nothing that a tong can’t fix on a couple of straggly bits!

The verdict? Definitely a time saving hack that I would try again, my hair was ‘ready to go’ after just a few minutes of faffing, rather than the usual half hour or more.

Why Kate is in her power-suit phase 💪🏼👑

Have you noticed this? Since Kate 'returned to work' this September, she has worm (almost) nothing but trouser suits..... so why is this?

As a Royal Fashion commentator and Celebrity Stylist it's a question I have been asked a lot!

No-one communicates better through their wardrobes than the Royal Family, and Kate has of course learned from the best; her late Majesty the Queen.

In loving memory of my favourite big white cock.... 🐔

Never in a million years did I think that Donald the cockerel would earn himself a place on my grid, but frankly he's been such a character over the years, and thanks to his frequent antics on stories has earned himself quite the fan club on here, so after his sad passing this weekend it feels only right to dedicate this square to the randy big white cock in the back garden who terrorised us all, dogs, cats, visiting builders and hens included.... but despite his many anger issues and extreme stupidity we all somehow adored....

Many of you will remember this hapless evening back in the Summer - Donald was obsessed with the new hens we had got him, in the hope that they might tire him out and take him slightly less aggressive.... I'm not sure it ever worked out like that... but at least the last few weeks of his life were fun!! 🤦🏼‍♀️

There have been many occasions when I have thought of facilitating an early one way trip to chicken heaven for Donald, as he was such a git, but somehow he always managed to earn himself a reprieve, as despite none of us, including the dogs, wanting to use the back garden for fear of being attacked, he has been so entertaining, and we were all very fond. 🐓

He was a git.... but a very special one!

RIP Donald. Thank you for all of the laughs, and the scars.... 🌈

How To Cheat Thicker Fuller Lashes

You do not have to put up with fine, sparse lashes...

As I've got older, my lashes have definitely got more sparse, and I resorted to falsies as they just didn't look the same anymore.

Enter Revitalash UK they have a brilliant lash growth serum, treatment mask and volumising mascara combo that really has changed my peepers for the better.

I apply the mask once a week, use the serum twice daily, and follow the following makeup steps which really make a difference.

- I tightline my inner eyelid with The Eye Of Horus Cosmetics eyeliner in Nubian brown - it's fab for making your lashes look thicker and stays ALL day - available from Beauty And The Boutique

- Then I use Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk eyeliner on top of my lashes, but really working it into the roots.

- The Revitalash mascara is my new fave as it stays put and really thickens. It comes with a primer to coat your lashes first, then as you can see, it's really buildable, giving you the exact look you want.

And... tah dah....! You're good to go! 💫

Easy styling tips for big tummies 💫

Save for future reference!

In all my years of styling I don't think I've met a woman who isn't slightly self-conscious about her middle, and this is definitely an area we become more conscious of as we get older, here are a few simple styling tips to try:

As counter-intuitive as it sounds, they key with tummies is actually to ADD volume to the neighbouring areas (shoulders and hips) in order to reduce the apparent size of the tum in the middle. I promise you won't look bigger, you'll just look more shapely, style has more to do with shape than size, so you just need to put your body back into proportion, you look your best when your figure is a curvy figure of 8 shape, so this is what we simply have to rebuild with a bit of style trickery ⭐️

Structured shoulders, shoulder details and shoulder pads are your wardrobe secret weapon, by adding volume and elongating up top, they will make your middle bit appear smaller. Try Bardot tops, plunging V necks, and eye-catching necklaces. Watch out for a blocky torso, it's about defining t*sensuous curves so lift and separate the boobs with a decent bra.

I know it's tempting to hide in baggy clothes or loose fitting tunics but I promise they will make you look way bigger, and there are other ways to look stylish without living in a tent. Even if you have a tummy you will have a narrower point in the middle somewhere - find it and highlight it! ✨

Diminish volume on your top half by dividing your torso vertically, wear an open long jacket over a long sleeve tee etc, long earrings and cross-body nags worn low can also be useful in adding interest to other areas and diverting the eye.

Warning! ‼️ Wearing a longer top can actually make your top half look larger and you can become 'all tummy', try raising the waist of your outfit with a tuck or half tuck - it can work on larger tummies too!

If all else fails use colour. Wear a darker shade on your top half and a lighter on your bottom half to visually rebalance - this is NOT an excuse to wear black however - it can be chic, but it's also one of the most unforgiving shades - or try a flattering elongating jumpsuit - just remember to define your waist! ⭐️
